Good afternoon auditing world. I have a question that I've never been asked and I've never thought of it the way it was posed to me...so, I need your thoughts and documentation if you have any. If a patient has bilateral osteoarthritis of the knees, and they are treated the same way, would this be 1 problem or 2? If they are treated differently, I can see counting 2 problems.

Thanks in advance,

Tammy Cook, CCS-P, CPC, CRC
