Wiki E&M and Telehealth Same day Help !!

Physician is on call
Physician called at 11:00 pm for a Telehealth Consultation
Pt. Goes to have an MRI, so Physician doesn't perform the telehealth (Telestroke) until after the pt. is done with his MRI (after midnight)
Physician performs Telestroke consult at 1:20 AM.
Physician also sees the pt. bedside 12 hours later and dictates a subsequent visit note (same day)
Question: Can a G0427-GT and an E&M be coded for the same day? If so, how to code it?

On the NCCI tables, G0427 is bundled to the hospital E/M codes with no modifier allowed to override the bundling, so you won't be able to bill both of these on the same date. But I would think it would be appropriate to count the work involved in the telehealth consult toward the E/M level of the bedside service.
