I bill acupuncture in the state of California and I hear mixed opinions about billing an E&M code with every visit in addition to acupuncture codes 97810/97811.

In all types of medicine can E&M codes be billed every visit? Does it make a difference if you're in or out of network?

Does anyone have experience billing acupuncture and how do you bill E&M?
