A patient came in today for a sprain, the physician gave the patient an ace bandage. He is billing the visit as a 99214. Can we also bill a hcpc's code A6449 for the ace bandage or is that an inclusive service to the e/m code.
 
E/M code and HCPCS Code

The supply is separately billiable, however most carriers do not reimburse for supplies. If you had the patient sign a waiver for the supply you may be able to bill them for the supply if the insurance denies the charge.
