One of our doctors received a request from a breast surgeon to review a patient's case. She will not be meeting with the patient face-to-face and expects to spend less than 30 minutes reviewing the case. She will dictate a report with her findings. Is there an E/M code that can be billed? Everything I find states that time must be spent face-to-face with the patient and/or family. Just want to make sure I'm not missing something before I give her an answer. Thanks!
