When coding E/M visits based on MDM, when the provider documents "continue with symptom management" in the assessment/plan section of the note, can this phrase be given given credit as "prescription drug management" when determining the CPT code ?
 
Hi there, the statement doesn't indicate the drugs that are being managed or the medical decision making involved, so it would not count as Rx drug management
