Can a Physicain code and bill an E & M for Rx refill when the patient not seen in their office, patient is on Physical therapy but a Rx is need for their service to contiuned, patient has a Dr. schedule follow up weeks later, per Dr feels patient do not need to be seen sooner, however Rx due....
Dr was informed by one of his other Dr's (Different office) that a level 1 can be bill.

Thank you so much That's what I though but after he indicate his DR buddy does, I say ok I will look into, I say to myself maybe it changes and I an not up to date with my E & M codes.
