Patient Come from Follow up for knee pain. Current pain is Severe so Physician Decided to Perform knee Joint Injection. In This Chart E/M 99213 this is correct? Here MDM Table A Moderate One or More Chronic illness with exacerbation? Table C Low Minor Procedure Without Risk Factor? This Correct Coding?
 
If the only service the provider performed for the pain was a knee injection, then it would be a procedure only visit as nothing was done that was significant or separate beyond the procedure to support an E/M service.
