Hi there,

I am working on some E/M's done in a hospital setting.

There is no referring provider listed, so I was curious if anyone had a more clear answer to if I would revert back to who is interpreting the report, or if I should list referring provider as the doctor that preformed the procedure to begin with?

Not sure if that makes sense, or if there is even any clarification for this type of situation, but I would very much appreciate anyone's insight.
