Patient was seen in urgent care for a greenstick fracture of the distal radius, a volar fiberglass splint was formed and applied. Is a volar fiberglass splint a cast? Patient was referred to Ortho clinic.

Should I be using a casting procedure code or a E/M code?

Any input would be appreciated.
