Hi all!
I work at a company that primarily creates claims for home visits (palliative care).
One thing that occurred recently is one of our providers ended up seeing a patient at the patient's homeopath's office. The homeopath was present as well but the majority of the visit was conducted by our company's provider.
I'm not totally certain which type of E/M CPT is most appropriate here. I suspect the general office visit E/M is what makes the most sense, although can anyone tell me whether or not it matters that it was not, in fact, the office of our provider?
