Hello! :)
My question is if a patient was seen in the ER as a consult what would be the appropriate code set to use? I say to use the 'Office or other outpatient consultations' code set. Someone else is saying that it should be the 'office or other outpatient services' code set. Also when would it be appropriate to use the 'office or other outpatient services' for an ER visit? And are the 'Emergency Department Services' codes only for ER docs?
