No, rather, E11.43 could be a required code (“code first”) for K31.84. (I say “could” because it is not the only code that could be coded as the underlying disease causing the gastroparesis [K31.84]).

About the former question, I have to do more research on that. It would probably help if you can include the [redacted] H&P so we can understand the provider's reasoning.
