Patient was unable to travel to facility so OT went to patients home to treat.(patient is in a behavorial home). At this time OT is unable to travel back out to patients home and so patient needs to come to facility for treatment. Patient mom states this cant be done so OT will have to discharge patient. OT is asking if they need to refund medicaid for any charges that were given if they cant continue patients treatment due to travel issues. I have never heard of these types of problems so I hope someone can help out. And is there a specific discharge form if there is early release of treatment? OT works for an OutPt Rehab Facility.

Any responses is greatly appreciated.
