im trying to find the correct ICD10 when provider's diag is "early stage in pregnancy" without initiation of OB care. for example:
patient comes in to office to confirm pregnancy with provider. after examination provider would document "early stage pregnnacy" and advise to return to office a week later to check pregnancy progression and start ob care. I believe Z32.01 is to be coded only when pregnancy test has been done at visit. what if only ultrasound was done to confirm pregnancy?
