Hello,
ECG in a squad. Do you verify a physician order prior to the cardiologist reading the results. Also, if you do bill for the read, what Is the place of service that you report?

No...we do not verify the order prior to a reading. The place of service is wherever the patient had the EKG. If the patient was hospital inpatient and you read and interp on a different day....you still bill inpatient hospital for place of service.
