Good morning,
I am auditing cardiology services and I have a question on codes 93306 & 93312. When is it appropriate to code 93320, 93321, and 93325 with echo/tee? Does the note have to state that color flow and doppler were used on the main study in order to bill a complete? Can someone provide me some insight into when these add-on codes would be used? Thanks.
 
93306 includes the Color Flow and Doppler
93312 you would bill the Color Flor and Doppler if performed and would need to me mentioned on the report.
