Hi:
Does anyone out there bill for ED splinting and have the vendor bill for the supply? We recently changed our process where Hanger stocks our supplies and bills the patient's insurance directly. Our claims don't have the supply code or device. Historically, we did not code for the splinting, but I think that we can maybe capture some revenue if we do. Has anyone gotten denied by billing this way?
