Wiki EDD to Document Length of Pregnancy

I have a note in which the provider does not state how far along the mom is in her pregnancy. Am I able to pick this up using the EDD or is that not adequate? Thanks!

Our practice uses a Prenatal Flowsheet to grab those particular dx codes from more than the office visits as our providers are sometimes lacking in documenting that information.
