Is anyone using 98960, 98961, 98962? We are looking into offering some educational services to the patients in our perinatal department. The idea is to have the RN do small group sessions ,2-4 patients, on things like diabetes.

This code set seems to meet the needs but I wanted to see if anyone is using it and what your thoughts were.

Thanks in advance,

Laura, CPC, CEMC

Laura, we are using these codes for our Registered Dieticians & reporting them to commercial payers only. We report 99211's for our Medicare population. Please keep in mind that these codes (98960-98962) requires a standardized curriculum.
Good luck!
