I currently code pathology and my employer would like me to learn to also code anesthesia and pain management. Can someone comment on the options for training in this specialty? I see that AAPC offers certification and test prep for CANPC. If you have used those resources, can you give a review? Are there other resources one should consider?

I learned on the job after completing the coding/billing continuing education program at a local community college. All I had when I started was the basic CPC knowledge.

I'm sure that CANPC exam review book has a great amount of information to help you. Feel free to shoot me an email if you have any questions.
