Hello,
I started to code Neurosurgery in December. I was general SX coder for 9 years before. I do code for huge hospital and I encounter many different procedures now; staring form elective simple procedures to traumatic injuries of head, spine, etc. I have great educator at work, however i was thinking to take the AAPC neurosurgery coding course. I'd like to ask for opinions - is it worth it to get clarification on many procedures which are very complex or thee is another course, website that is worth to try. Looking for books recommendations as well. I do have old AANS guidelines, however I am looking for more "explanatory " materials.
