Any EEG specialists out there! ;)

2 questions:


(1) - Provider performs a 7 hour long EEG: IS THAT REPORTED AS 95813? (-26)


(2) - Provider performs a 24 hour long EEG, but does not mention anything about localization or lateralization or seizure focus, then would that be reported as 95813? (-26)

Does the provider have to state in their note the verbiage that's mentioned in the CPT codes 95950,95951 descriptions in order to use the 24 hour codes?
