For those that are in a paperless office, how do you capture the lifetime signature authorization and the HIPAA disclosure. Do you have a electronic signature pad or do you have pts sign the paper and then scan it in? Also, are you having your pts complete a registration/demographic form?

I believe that depends on the capabilities of your system. Many of them now have the electronic signature pads, but if those are not compatible you could certainly have them sign the form and scan it in. Same with registration forms, some systems capture everything electronically while others you can have a form filled out and scanned into the system.
