Our physicians read EKGs done at one of the local hospitals and we bill 93010. Recently, we've been seeing Medicare deny some of them stating 'procedure partially done by another provider'.
Does anyone have any advice on what we can do, if any?
We tried calling Medicare. They weren't any help.

It may be that the facility has submitted CPT code 93000 (includes interpretation & report)instead of 93005. You may want to follow up with the facility to verify what codes it is submitting.
