I have a physician who is ordering the EKG, but he is not signing off on them until days later. Can he charge for that EKG??? Can anyone point me to guidelines for billing the EKG??
 
If another physician performs it or if it is in the hospital you can bill 93010; interpretation and report only. If they are done in the office and you own the equipment I would bill 93000.
