Our coding team has tagged unlisted code 24999 for this procedure. Carrier has totally rejected stating incorrect code - must submit correction. Is there any other code that would apply?
 
Agree with Thomas. Without knowing the details of the procedure, there is no way to give an opinion on this. The question is too vague.
If you are talking about arthroscopic microfracture of the elbow for OCD, it would not be 24999 because that's not the unlisted CPT for arthroscopy.
If it was OCD microfracture at the elbow, no other procedures at the same time, and done via scope it would most likley be 29999 and a comparison code would be 29879. But, without seeing an op note this is just a guess.
