I can't post the entire op report because it is long and I will have to type if but I am hoping someone can help me on this...

Via right c femoral puncture-

1) Aortic arch DSA 75650

2) Right- Subclavian DSA 75685

3) Right Costocervical trunck DSA 36217-75685

4)Right Embolization of pseudoaneurysm off distal branches of the costocervical with post imaging 61626-75894-75898

5) Repeat Aorta arch DSA-not coded

6) DSA of multiple bilateral intercostal vessels over vetebral body levels C2 - C5 36215-59-75705

7) Empbolization of tumor at C2 through C5 with post imaging 61624-75898-75894

Can I code both embolizations sense 2 they have two seperate codes or is this still once operative site?

Any thoughts?

Two embolizations

There are two embolization procedures performed for two different reasons. One for Pseudoaneurysm (costocervical branches) and another one is for spinal tumor (intercostal vessels). Since the embolization performed for different purpose in different anatomical sites, it can be coded twice.

Hope this helps !
