My provider purchased the equipment to perform an EMG but a different provider will be coming to the office to perform the test. Would I be able to bill the Technical Component of the test? When using the TC modifier, does the provider who owns the equipment need to employ the individual performing the test? Also, would the rendering provider be the provider performing the test? Any help would be great. Thank you.

You can own the equipment and bill the TC portion of the test without employing the provider who will be billing the professional (-26) portion. I hope this helps :)
