EMG Studies- Can you bill if they're not using needle?

Can you bill 95870 and 95868 if you are using EMG recording endotracheal tubes instead of needles to capture vocalis activity during thyroid, parathyroids, neck dissections, anterior cervical spine or cranial nerve X monitoring?

The aspect I'm struggling with is per LCD https://www.cms.gov/medicare-coverage-database/view/article.aspx?articleid=54095&ver=68&= it calls out that surface electromyography is non covered. But EMG recording endotracheal tubes isn't technically surface and is more invasive than the normal SEMG. But it isn't technically a needle monitoring either.
