Looking for an ICD-10 code to use for labs as part of a routine medical examination for a child? The book (Test/Laboratory (as part of a general medical examination)), leads you to Z00.00 Encounter for general adult medical examination, but that code is only for ages 15-124. The corresponding code for Encounter for routine child health examination - Z00.129 - does not include the wording 'and any associated laboratory and radiologic examinations'. Any help would be appreciated.
