Sonds like there isn't many resources on how to bill for ACTH Stim Test.

We have some endo providers doing an ACTH (cosyntropin) stimulation test. Usually, they will just be involved during the ACTH injection and potentially a prolonged visit is needed for observation. Usually, they do not give fluids, but it is possible they might have to.

Do we code office visit, prolonged services, injection administration and J code?

Does anyone know how to code/bill this test in an office setting, appreciate any help. Thank you
