Wiki Endoscopic craniectomy for sagittal synostosis

Hello,

I am wondering how the various neurosurgery/cranio-facial plastic surgery groups code for the endoscopic sagittal synostosis repairs? My surgeon's office has recently been advised that one of our payors will not accept our current billing.

I am wondering how other offices code this for either a single neurosurgeon or a team that consists of a neurosurgeon and a cranio-facial plastic surgeon?

We are seeing a great deal of this also. The surgery is only dealing with one suture line but there is nothing to cover the Barrell Stave Craniectomies.

I'm very interested in this topic too. I posted the same question on 7/18 with no response thus far. Would love to know how others are coding these cases.
