Hello everyone I have general ENT billing questions I need help with:

If a provider did a tracheal fenestration(cpt code 31610) on Friday, which has a global period, can the same provider do a tracheoscopy (cpt code 31615) on Saturday?


Also can another ENT provider within the same group change the tracheotomy tube (cpt 31502) and bill for that tube change?
 
try modifier?

You could try modifier 79 for distinct unrelated procedure during global period...... maybe also use AT for acute treatment, you may have to send the notes.
