Has anyone ever billed for an Enteroscopy thru the PEG site instead of by mouth? I'm guessing it's an unlisted code? He also replaced the GJ but he did a bit more than just the replacement. Help!
The
GIFXP160-281 2593 was introduced through the
percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy and advanced to
the Mid jejunum with the tip of the endoscope
approximately 60 cm past the pylorus. The small
bowel enteroscopy was accomplished without
difficulty. The patient tolerated the procedure well.
