Help Please,
When Coding an Ablation and the cardiologist advises Isuprel Infusion was used, Does there need to be notated a start and stop time along with the amount used in order to add the 93623 code to the ablation? Or as long as it says it was used in the process of the abaltion it can be coded?

If Ispuprel was used post ablation in order to see the efficacy of the work then you do not charge for ispurel.

Although CPT code 93623 may be reported for intravenous drug infusion for diagnostic programmed stimulation and pacing, it should not be reported for injections of a drug with stimulation and pacing following an intracardiac catheter ablation procedure (e.g., CPT codes 93650-93657) to confirm adequacy of the ablation. Confirmation of the adequacy of ablation is included in the intracardiac catheter ablation procedure.

So guess would need to know more about this scenario
