My physicians will many times do ablations around the ganglionated plexi area before actually isolating the pulmonary veins during an Atrial fibrillation Ablation.
Some of them consider this to be an additional "distinct" ablation from the PVI ablation and should be able to also code 93657 along with 93656 for this.
Any thoughts? Please help.
