Your assistance is very much appreciated. I am very new to EPIC. Currently we have a rule that will notifying the physician (they are in charge entering E/M level) when the patient is considered new (3 year rule). However, we have a few subspecialties and the current rule cannot distinguish the subspecialties. Do you know if EPIC offers this at all? Or does it truly not have this capability? We are trying to eliminate backend work as much as possible and this is one of the main ones. Have a great day, and again your assistance is much appreciated.
