Hi.
I need to know anesthesia ruling for L&D in case of medicaid (as it does not accept anesthesia cpt code).
If a patient comes in for vaginal delivery. Has an epidural ran overnight but ends up having a c section on next day of admission. would the epidural be coded separately as 62323 followed by 59514.

You are correct. This is how I code my labor to c/s for NJ Medicaid. Note: be sure that your base units are correct at 3
