When trauma alert is called before PT presents to ER room and the er doctor and Trauma doctor are present at the same time pt is brought in how is this billed??? PT is not admitted and no formal or verbal consult is called. Would the ER Dr bill E\M for ER visit and Trauma Dr bill outpatient office visit?
