I wanted to double check i am thinking 11730?
The wound is placed in hibiclens x 5 minutes. Dry and clean right thumb with alcohol wipes.
Rubber band applied at 1st MCP joint. Thumb's nail and surrounding area cleansed with
betadine. Digital block of the right first digit done using 2% lidocaine w/o epi 2.5 ml used. Nail is
gently removed using a steril probe. Nail bed is cleansed with betadine.The wound is then
bandaged using neosporin, telfa, and tubular gauze.
dx is traumatic subungual hematoma.
