Patient comes to the ER. Found to have a perirectal abscess - colon/rectal surgery is called and they do an H&P. Following the H&P patient underwent an I&D of the abscess. Can I bill for the H&P - initial hosptial care and the I&D or just the I&D. I seem to get confused on this every time. Thanks in advance
