UHC is denying ESI' s with J1110 with CO-234. No auth. is needed. J1110 is denied as inclusive. We can't find any information on how to fight this. Anyone else coming across this?

J1110 is for migranal (a nasal spray for migraines). What are you trying to bill?

Sorry my finger got carried away with the 1's.
I'm billing an ESI cpt 62323 with j1100 and UHC denial is CO-234 for the drug.
Many denials are coming in now from UHC and we can't any information how to appeal this.
Any help would be so appreciated.

Are you doing the ESI in an office setting or in an ASC? Are you billing for the provider or for the facility?

There is another thread here in the forums where UHC was inappropriately denying injectable meds in the office. I think they are fixing the problem but you will want to search out that thread.
