Quick question, maybe I am overthinking this issue. I know Acute Renal Failure or AKI is considered high risk in medical decision making, but is ESRD considered high risk as well?

Would it only be high risk if there is a documented severe exacerbation or does simply being diagnosed with ESRD qualify as high risk?
