So, does anyone actually get one?
Every post here is "I'm working full time, just got my certification, how can I work part time"... and so on.

Seems like a giant circle.

Has anyone here ever GOTTEN a part time coding job or are we all just shouting into the void?

I just passed my exam and am having trouble finding any coding jobs that allow apprenticeship status.

I am a CPC A and I have a job as a coding specialist and it took me a year and 1/2 to get it.
It took 12 months searching for a job sending 100s of resumes out.
I finally found a temp gig as a medical records technician for a medical group.
That experience allowed me to get hired for a job as an entry level administrative assistant in a medical center's coding department.
I proved myself and they offered me a coding job ---with a CPC A. They are helping me to remove the A.

I recommend healthcare temp agencies for jobs - part time or full time.
I'd not hold my breath for part-time work if you are a CPC A with no experience, but there are some listings that come up on Codersdirect for CPC-As.
