I have this coded correctly I think but am wandering about the complex repair. Patient had 2 malig lesions on rt arm, defects were 8cm and 10cm. He also had 3 malig lesions on lt arm, defects 13cm and 7 cm. I also was coding the exc as 11606 with mod 59 but wandered about the NEW MOD XS?
I have coded 11606 rt, 11606 59 rt, 11606 59 lt, 11606 59 lt, 13121, 13122 6 units. Total wound 38cm and patient has private insurance.
