2 neuromas from the ilioinguinal and iliohypogastric nerves. We coded these excisions using 64784. The third excision does not read neuroma, but simply excision of the Genitofemoral nerve. He suggested I bill using 27035 for lack of a better option. I am suggesting using an unlisted code. The dictation shows the excision is at the fascial level and I feel that 27035 would imply
the procedure was deep within the pelvis.
Is there a code for the resection of the genitofemoral nerve that I have missed?
