Just need a little reassurance that I am on the right track... My doc did a exc with a co2 laser on lesion and not sure what code best fits it... Report reads... Using CO2 Laser at 10W of continuous power, the lesion was circumscribed and the resulting flap of tissue was curetted with a loop curette. Using the laser once more, the underlying tissue was vaporized down to the base of the membrane of the dermis, curetted once again and lastly vaporized for cautery of bleeders.
Would this be a 28043 or a 28090 or something else???
