I am new at coding for plastic surgery and I am having trouble with sizing a lesion and the closure. Is it the widest part of the lesion and the narrowest part of the margin x2? So if the lesion is 1.5 x 1.0 cm and the margin is 2 x 1.3 cm, is the calculation this:

1.5 cm for the lesion and 1.3 cm + 1.3 cm = 1.5 + 1.3+1.3= 3.9 cm for the excision? And what would the closure be?
