Excisions and flaps are bundled.

This is an odd case though.

04/28 - Patient came in for excision of SCC on L medial knee. Excised it on that date. Doctor did not do a repair at this time, he put in a couple of stitches simply to stop bleeding. 10 day global

04/30 - Patient came in to have wound examined, it was healing well. Margins were clear.

05/07 - Patient came in with mild cellulitis (apparently the doctor planned on doing a repair on this date but due to the cellulitis put it off another week.

05/12 - Rotation flap repair performed on L medial knee.

What do I do and how do I bill this? Should I expect to have a refund request for the excision?
 
Since the flap was a different dos and no longer in the p/o global for the excision, there should be no reason why you could not charge the flap.
the rule applies for same session, so this scenario would be billable.
